WELCOME TO SANTA ROSA BARTENDING SCHOOL!
Santa Rosa Bartending School offers the only training program in northern California for bar personnel north of San Francisco. Our two week course consists of 30 hours of behind-the-bar instruction and practice. Our objective is to train you for employment as a bartender in a full-service bar.
We offer training in bar operations and procedures common in full-service bars, along with techniques of pouring and mixing drinks.
Santa Rosa Bartending School was founded in 1978 by John C. Burton, a professional bartender and bar management consultant. John, who has more than 40 years of experience in his field, has dedicated himself to providing quality education and marketable skills to thousands of individuals seeking a lucrative career in the hospitality industry.
Burton is the published author of his authoritative book Pour Man's Friend: A Guide and Reference for Bar Personnel, which serves as the textbook and workbook for our classes and bartender schools nationwide. In addition, John's book has been selected as textbook at several colleges offering hospitality courses.
